I recently decided to have a go at Floristry. The main reason is because I am going to be doing my own wedding flowers (not the bouquets and button holes… I’m leaving that to the lovely Leafy Couture, but I’ll be arranging the flowers for the church and the reception). I also fancied trying something new. I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet some new people and learn a new skill!
Lesson one was Button Holes. I have a new appreciation for the work that florists do! Button Holes look so simple, but they are really fiddly! It took me two full hours to make these two! It involved lots of wire and floristry tape. I was so pleased with how they looked!
Next week we’re learning how to make Line Arrangements. I’m not even sure what one of these is!
