I can’t believe how quickly this week has gone! I had my Final Selection meeting for AW15 on Friday. It meant a lot of late nights at work and stressful days, but it’s done now (and it didn’t go too badly!).
Friday evening, I jumped on the train down to London, where I met up with Christian and his work colleagues for their Christmas do! We went to a Vietnamese restaurant called Bambou. The food was incredible! We then moved on to a couple of bars for drinks until the early hours. The following morning, after a leisurely lie in at our hotel, we went to Liberty for brunch and to join the masses on the Christmas floor. I did manage to choose our annual tree decoration… my beautiful Peacock! I was so worried he would get squashed on the tube! But he made it home in one piece and now has prime spot on our tree!
I’m looking forward to getting back into a more sensible routine at work (in terms of hours), so that I can be a bit more productive. I’m starting to think about all the things I need to do before Christmas! eek! I also feel like I ought to be cracking on with my craft projects for the wedding. I’ve got lots that I’d like to do, and I have a sneaky feeling the next 10 months are going to fly by.
Anyway, here is a glimpse at what I’ve been up to this week…
1. Finally put our chandelier up (from Next) | 2. The BEST Christmas gift from a supplier at work… Krispy Kreme Christmas selection. I had the Millionaire’s Parcel | 3. Practising for the Bake Off at work next week | 4. Getting our Tipi floor plan through from Papakata | 5. Crispy Squid starter from Bam-Bou in London | 6. King Prawn Noodle Bowl main course at Bam-Bou | 7. I was very excited to see the London Palladium all set up for Cats (I’m going next month) | 8. Liberty | 9. Brunch at Liberty, I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, my favourite breakfast | 10. Wearing my Christmas jumper, with my mums dog Daisy… spot the difference | 11. Decorating our tree | 12. Our awesome Peacock from Liberty
