This time next week it’ll be Christmas Eve! Whoop! I am so excited, I will be driving up to Yorkshire for a couple of days to see friends and family.
Christmas has taken over from the Wedding plans recently, but I think we have everything booked now, and it is just the little details and decorations that I need to buy/make now.
I spent ages decided whether to book a Hair and Make Up artist, or to just do it myself. I think I am ok at doing my own make up, and sometimes feel a bit strange letting someone else do it for me. For my hair, I think I will end up with something quite simple. It’ll probably be something I can easily do myself, but it can be so hit or miss. Half the time, I am really pleased with how it looks, but the other half it just wont behave!
Earlier this year, Christian and I volunteered to model for Cat Hepple’s Wedding Photography Workshop (read the full post here). It proved to be a great opportunity to meet some fab suppliers. We ended up booking our Leafy Couture as our Florist (read more here), based on the beautiful bouquet and flower crown. It also meant that I got to meet Victoria Farr. She spent the morning doing my Hair and Make Up. She was so friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable. As we were volunteering, I wasn’t too concerned about how they would make me look, but the Boho style was very ‘me’! I was really pleased!

Fast-forward a few months, and I was Maid of Honour at my friends wedding. She had booked to have a Hair and Make Up artist for herself and the bridesmaids. It meant that the morning was very relaxed, and the experience made me feel very spoilt. It was lovely!
Christian and I discussed our budget and decided to go ahead and book for myself and my four bridesmaids. I knew straight away that I wanted to book Victoria! Luckily, she was available. So now I just need to start thinking about (Pinning!) how I’d like to look. I’ve got plenty of time before my trial next Summer.
